Secretary

Ebony Underwood; was born in St. Paul, MN but raised in Jackson, MS most of her life. She is married to Greg Underwood and has four beautiful children. Ebony was raised in a family with strong people who loved, guided, and showed her what it meant to help others whether they’re children or adults. A life changing experience gave her a different view on life, leaving her wanting to give back more. Since her husband is serving in the military she had the opportunity and pleasure of traveling as well as living in different states. Even though they travel, she managed to find ways to give back to the community. Ebony volunteered at places like The Valley Food Locker, Enrichment Services, Safe Kids, Safe Homes, Domestic Violence Shelter, Salvation Army, and Walton’s Options Life for Independent Living, and also with military families.

Ebony currently holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Social Work. She believes that by becoming a social worker, it will allow her to give back to the community as much as possible by advocating for those without a voice. She is passionate to empower young people and help them obtain information about health and wellness as well as respecting themselves; in addition to counseling and therapy. Therefore, she is very excited about making a change and giving back to others and being a part of the Big Dream family.
